On September 10th and 11th, 2022, Koelhuis Eindhoven opened its doors to the public for the first time, inviting visitors to explore its past, present, and future during a series of free guided tours during the Open Monumentendag weekend. One of the tours was reserved to the direct neighbors living in the area, with more room for Q&A about the development.
To highlight the past of the building as an ice cream freezing warehouse, we offered free ice cream cones were through a vintage ice cream van, reminiscent of the old Campina ones.
